I've seen a YFZ that was just brought home do the same thing. I know the exhaust of that engine is always hot but, if your head-pipe is that hot your valves are that hot too [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]
Go one larger jet size and see what it does. As long as the performance is still there you you are now running safer.

while riding hard it might be normal to have a orange pipe, I know it is on the honda 450 4X4's.
If you are below sea level you might not have to re-jet[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
