Default Raptor Recall

Got a letter saturday stating that my raptor as well as any from 2001 and up are being recalled due to a rear brake issue. Something about air bubbles from vibration and causing the rear brakes to fail. That they would install a damper of some kind at no charge to me. Anybody else got this letter?

No problems here either one of my Raptors. I will just wait and see, My front brakes work the best for me any ways, hardly ever use the rear, just down shift and squeeze the fronts.

Yeah i use the fronts a lot more than the rear but i noticed the rear does need new pads, go figure.

I just called my dealer and asked them if they knew anything, service guy said they are aware of the recall, but have NO parts and they are backordered (sp?). He said to call him back next monday and he would let me know if had gotten the parts.

I have a 01 and had to replace the master cylinder for my back brakes. I guess some little seal was broken. But since I didnt have any back brakes I got use to just using the front....downshift and use the front brakes a little bit.

I have two 2003 Raptors that I purchased new.

I have had the exact problem mentioned here with one of the Raptors. I am continually having to bleed the rear brakes because they become"mushy."

I have had no problems with my other Raptor.

I haven't gotten any letters from Yamaha. I live in AZ.

Anyone else have info on this?
