Ive got a stock '00 Blaster. I want to put a pipe on it but I really like the Auto-Lube system, im only gonna keep the bike for a year or so then i go off to college and im gonne sell the bike to my cuz, i really dont want myself or him to have to mix the gas, i can deal with re-jetting the carb, but is there any pipe i can use to keep the auto-Lube?

you can keep the autolube with all of them, if you buy the fmf pipe you wont need to rejet either.

get the fmf fatty and PCII silencer, you will love it, it runs better through the whole RPM range and sounds like a 125 dirtbike.you wont need to rejet even though some people say so.

Fatty, Turbine Core 2 if your ride in the woods, remove the snorkle and rejet it or you will not be getting the full performance gain.

Ok guys, here are my conditions, i ride in the woods rarely, normally I ride one of two local rivers, so my bike sees alot of sand and water and the occasional mudhole, it is still running the stock 230 jet and alot of people have told me that if I keep the 230 jet the fmf pipe and PCII will help alot but not give the 100% performance gain possible, im not looking for a huge gain, just a moderate, can i skip out on the re-jet and and just add the pipe and silencer?

It was the same as with the snorkle because you did not rejet and it was lean. That would be my guess without riding and listening to your quad. It is a known fact that air cooled two-strokes react better to a slightly rich mixture. Not to mention the life of the motor.

I also ride woods and rivers and I have never had any water get in the air box with the snorkle removed.

Alot of people will tell you how and what to do to your quad. The fact is that every quad is different and must be jetted different. However, anytime you open up the air intake and exhuast you better rejet. Call FMF,LRD or any other performance shop and they will tell you the same thing. Know one can tell you what jet will work best but FMF recommends a 280 without the snorkle so that is a good place for you to start.

i can't be lean, when i had the 250 in it ran rich so i took off the snorkel it ran good. i did a plug chop and it looked fine.with my fmf pipe and silencer i stayed at 230.then the uni filter, reed spacer took me to a 250.but the reeds went down to a 240.i took off the snorkel and went to 250.that sounds right.

I stated that without riding or looking at the plug I wouldn't know how it was running. But you stated that there was no difference with snorkle on or off with a 250 before. That would have been because you didn't rejet but now you say it was rich before and then you also rejetted so o.k.
