Which should i get is a 300 to small for me i am 5'11" 180 and i am 16 years old. This quad will be for racing jumping climbing and sand dunes. If i can find out how much i will be paying a month on a 400ex after putting 700 down i will see if i can afford it since i make only 500 a month.

 

It might be 100 a month.

 

I'm 6' 190 and my 300EX is great. I like it better than the 400. Reverse, it's just better for my uses. The 400EX to me is a better race machine than anything. No reverse mainly. But that shouldn't make your choice when buying. It's not that big deal to pick up your front end and swing it around..if room permits.

I have ridden a 400, they do have more power..but the 1,000 you save can add tons of power to the 300EX.

Well, I have ridden both of the Hondas....and i bought a 00' Warrior.....the 400 is the fastest....but I trail ride and need reverse so I got the Warrior, cause its faster than the 300
