Warriors don't have the HP that even a stock Z has. With your mods you're prolly makin 20-25 HP while Z's make close to 30. Warriors are very obsolete especially when complaired to a Z. I believe that the Warriors weigh a bit more too which never helps in a drag.

 

I agree....My cousin's Warrior is bored .30 over, has a .440 cam, opened airbox, and we've tried 3 different pipes, and both stock EX's AND Z's will embarass it.....The warriors a good trail quad (even that's questionable), but it just plain stinks for any kind of racing.....

I don't think the warrior will get destroyed. With his mods, yeah he might be making 23 or 24 horse I'd say, but the Warriors have great low end torque for takeoff. I'd if the Warrior takes the holeshot it will be close. He might still lose, but he's not going to be 1/2 tracked like someone here suggested.

Also, just because the Z tops out at only 69 doesn't mean the Warrior will automatically pull a magic win. The warrior with his mods is quite capable of getting up to that speed, but it takes a lot longer. Top speed is rarely a factor in drags .. especially shorter drags with the lower CC bikes.

Again, I think it will be a close one if the Warrior rider can pull the holeshot. Not much danger of wheelieing out either on the Warrior.

We're much faster actually .. the heavier cold air creates huge hp gains [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] LOL
