Great dunes here. And in Idaho. I used to ride the warrior in them. Its ok, you just have to realize you ca't make it up certain hills, and its better to just not try.

 

His bud spotted the Cobra pipe and decided it was not worth the trouble...J/K. Joking aside, I guarantee he got half tracked. That Warrior will put out 20hp MAX in his config. Z400's run good....I watched one clown a mild 400ex. Stay with dragging the 300ex's IMO.

 

LMAO! I own both those quads and there is NO WAY my E-Series, K&N Warrior can even come close to hanging with a stock Z. Two totally different quads guys...

 

aight i just got back from racing him and about the drag it was 225yds long and the first time we raced,right at the start he got a ahead and just kept chuggin for about 2 quad lengths was the difference ,but after that we raced a second time and right at the start i jumped out ahead of him and after about 130 yds he gradually passed me so i thought the ole war did aight

 

Your buddy was either taking it easy on you or he cant ride. The Z should flat out smoke that old Warrior.

 

naw he can ride cuz he has been riding a 300ex since he was 10 and he is 17 now and has had his z for 2 years and ive been riding since i was 8 and i use to have a blalster so we have some experience

I got a 2001 Warrior with Nitrous kit on it.

I spanked a 2000 300ex with extensive motor mods to it. Stroked, cam, all kinds of mods with pipe.

Put about 3 full lengths on motor, and put about 20 lengths on Nitrous. AND THATS NO JOKE!

Guarantted, A Z cant hang with my Warrior. I guarantte that! Not a good trail bike a Warrior? Where the hell have you been? A Raptor is to damn big for trails and handles like crap. A banshee is not a trailing bike, a good trailing bike, 400ex 300ex Warrior z400.

Nitrous is a quick fix for anything. Made my Warrior fly. And has a decent shot on it, and has had 10-12 bottles ran threw it and not one problem yet! Never seen so many Warrior haters in my life. If they sucked than Yamaha couldnt sell a single one! Thats why they been selling them so long. Even though i heard sometime this year they will not sale them anymore, i dont regret getting my Warrior at all.

OH YEA SOMETHING ELSE, WHEN I SPANKED THAT 300EX'S ***, IM ABOUT 220PDS VERSUS ABOUT 160 PDS ON THE 300EX

 

So you've got Nitrous on your Warrior, but in another post your asking which pipe you should get for more horsepower??? Hopefully those waders are coming in full body suits nowadays...
