Default Raptor Sliping Clutch

I have a problem with my brothers raptor it is an 02 and when you pull away the clutch seems to slip for a bit before engaing correclty, it sets off but slipping slightly. Also the bike strugles to go backwards.

Is it that the clutch is warn out or somone told me that it may be due to wrong type of oil can anyone help
