Default Gearing/new chain

I was just wondering what the best gearing for the dunes is... I have stock gearing right now on my raptor. Also, if i change the gearing, do i need to get a new chain?

I would go with a 12T front sprocket, you wont need a new chain, just adjust it.

with your setup 13/40 is the best for dunes and hill shooting, starting in second and stay in 3rd all the way up the hill,if you cant pull that gearing then do some more tunning cuz your bike should be running stronger..JMOFE

i would change the chain at the same time as the sprockets, if you use the old chain you will wear your new sprockets really quick.
