Default siezed raptor?

But I am deff glad that i got the raptor its deff a big increase from an old 1988 warrior to a new 2004 limited raptor its a great bike runs great rides nice the people who say that there tippsy they aren't the reverse rev limiter sucks though but there is a fix for that $80 goes right in the existing reverse light hole and can be engaged or disenged but its a great quad so far i would like to get a grill for the radiator to protect it from people in front throwing rocks but i don't know which one to get i would like one to cover the bottom of radiator also because its too open for me but maybe someone can clue me in on some things with it

Default siezed raptor?

i was riding normal and easy today when my raptor just slowed and died and backfired. i tried to shift it to nuetral, i cant budge the shifter at all. the clutch doesnt do a thing, it is still locked in gear and i cant get the bac wheels to spin at all. we tried to pull it with a truck to jolt it out of its lock, but no go. i am bringing it to my dealer and getting a new raptor. it was only less than 2weeks old. i babyed it soo much, i dont know what happened. anyideas?
You should check ur clutch cable make sure your clutch isn't out of adjustment.

Well, I am one of his friends. Hes still under warranty and Yamaha is getting him a new Raptor this weekend, today or maybe tommorow, I didnt ask him which day. I dont think its a 04 problem, three of my friends have 04LE Raptors and there going fine. This is just a first I heard of this problem, and I think it was a defect on his specific machine, hope so. Ill tell him to keep you guys posted!

well. they say it was something that was defective in the gearbox. sounds wierd to me, but im not complaining, im getting a new raptor. its either that or a full refund. i figure since i already have parts for my other rap that broke, i will get another and install those parts. they say tho it was just a defect, ive never heard of anything like it before, but they say it was decective from the day i got it.

Could you find out for sure what it was? Let me tell you this, I have only took my new bike out once since I purchased it and when I was down shifting it had a real bad metal to metal hit noise to it and thought it broke but then it kept working after that.

Let me know what it was ok.

Thanks
