Default help with new banshee

my friend was really impressed with my banshee that he decided to get one. His is a 2004 stock. hes had it for a 2 months he really likes it.but its been having problems lately. We live in bakersfield it worked good during the cold but now in the heat like 80 right now its weird.

first of all it wont idle as good as it use to

it turned off on me when it was warm in second gear holding in the clutch

and it kinda feels weaker (maybe cuz i got me some tr6)

is this sumthing he should worry about any tips .thanks

Try new spark plugs first, if that's not it just jet the carb down a lil, his banshee is probably running rich b/c it's warming up outside.

it sounds like a spark plug problem you have to change them if you ride too slow because they will foul pretty easy if you go too slow. buy some BR8ES spark plugs if thats the problem they dont foul as easy.

The Banshee is a 2 stroke you mix the oil with the gas. There is trany oil but that is not the brob.

I would check the spark plug first then the jetting.
Do you know what oil he is using and at what ratio?
I mix MC1 at 32 to 1
