Stock grip removal
Is there any way to remove the stock handlebar grips without cutting them off? I just got a pair of ProGrips to try but if I don't like them I'd like to be able to put the stock ones back on.
I also just installed the DG Baja full skid plate on my Wolverine. It fits great and appears to be very strong.
Thanks

If there is not already one, poke a small hole in the end of the grip. Then take an air hose (compressed air) and put the nozzle in the hole. Apply pressure slowly and hole the hose tightly. The other grip should come off of the handlebar. Then, move the airhose to the other side and wrap the hose nozzle with a rag. Apply pressure and the second grip should come off. This has yet to fail for me.
Good Luck.
Ride on.

You actually don't have to poke a hole in the end of the grip.
You could do it that way if you want.
You can take the compressed air and just pull the flange of the grip back a little and blow air at high pressure under there (where the grip meets the bar, by your levers). It inflates the grip and you can pull it right off.
