I've been doing routine maintenance on my wife's Big Bear, and tomorrow it's the oil and filter. I was looking in the owners manual and the had 3 different amounts of oil capacities. If just changing the oil, only 3qts. If oil and filter, 3.2qts. Now for the wierd thing, the total capacity is 3.7qts. If the total capacity is 3.7qts, why only put in 3.2 if I change the filter and oil? I figured I would have drained it all and I should fill it back up? Which one to use, and can someone explain the difference? Thanks, Grizzman00

I believe that motor is the same as the warrior and the wolverine, if it is there is no oil filter just two screens, 1 up inside were the drain is and the other is behind where the oil cooler lines go into the engine. The wolverine uses a little over 3 quarts and the big bear has a larger oil cooler sooo, goo from there.
goog luck,
