Just run the head pipe and take the silencer off. That will be the loudest pipe you will ever want. So loud you probably won't want to ride it. It's free too.

I actually tried that when I was installing my aftermarket pipe. The bike ran like crap. Part of that is jetting, but I think the lack of some backpressure hurt too.

Yes, I know the backpressure is mainly for 2 strokes, but thumpers need it sometimes too.

free yes.........but it will also lean out your engine like dumping a full tank of methanol in a bike with stock jetting.......
not a good idea

Your performance might go to crap but it is loud. Yes it will hurt your engine so don't do it.

I was just making a suggestion, I wasn't being serious. But, is it not loud?

I heard a 300EX that the muffler fell off of and it was freaking loud as crap, I can't imagine how loud a Raptor would be. Hurts just thinking about it.

We ride in specific riding areas, made for offroading, some have limits, but your pipe still can be quite loud. You know...? We dont all ride in the middle of nowhere do we.
