ya. sorry for being a jerk just stressed and taking it out on every body else. just trying to say don't look for the loudest pipe just look for the one with most power. if it happens to be the loudest pipe then go for it.

For a 14 year old you have your head on straight. Don't you guys read any quad magazines. There are reasons why environmentalists and private land owners are trying to shut us down and loud mufflers are giving them more ammunition. There plenty of areas already shut down to riding, do we want even more????? Not me, I enjoy the sport and want this 14 year old kid to enjoy it to. There are plenty of pipes out there that make decent power and are below the 96db rating . Just because you like it loud doesn't mean that the rest of the world does.

Yeah it sucks. Here in Alberta Canada it's not a real issue yet but with the ever increasing number of riders around it will cause a problem sooner or later. We don't have near the population density as you guys but I hear that it is a real bitch to find riding areas in your state.

ya, the only legal riding spot around here that I know of is mammoth bar. other than that you have to pretty much own your own land. and even then sometimes you have problems.

We are pretty lucky. We have public land with thousands of acres of riding just an hour drive from us. It has everyting from mud to fast dry cutlines for sport machines. We usually don't have a problem with riding on private land as long as we don't do any damage or wake the neighbors when passing through. Happy quading and keep the shiny side up. We can put on a 100 miles and not see another machine on the public land sometimes.

That loud pipe stuff is a crock of bs to me. I have a WB and it is loud I like loud too but it can be almost too loud. The thing that really irritates me is freakin Harley's thousands of them on the street and they are the loudest of them all. Yet that isnt a problem, you have a loud quad you cant ride in parks, you have a loud car you get pulled over, you have a loud Harley and thats A.OK. THATS BS!

No doubt. I have a 68 chevelle with a 502 bbc that is fairly loud(3"flowmaster exhaust) and have peple bitch at me. The same people that say that a loud harley is pretty cool(go figure). The only difference between a harley and a hoover is the placement of the dirtbag.
