Stupid carbs....help
My buddy tore apart my carb on my 2001 Yamaha Warrior, he knows a little more about carbs then I do, maybe not warrior carbs, but still more then me. Anyhow we got it back together and somehow this little brass washer is left over. He has no clue where it went and I sure don't. I have parts schematics of the carb, but can't tell where it goes. I also have a rebuild kit coming cause we cleaned out my entire carb and it still has an idling problem, so I'm gonna try new jets. This new carb kit even comes with this same brass washer, so I really need to know where it goes. Please help if you can. Here's a snapshot of the washer I'm talking about. Thanks Washer

Thats what I think it is also, the parts diagram shows one there, I just don't remember one being there, but I didn't take that part off though...my friend did when I wasn't paying attention. I know its the only washer this color and this size out of everything we took off.

carb
I see two washers, number 14 and number 20.
As long as youre taking it apart again, try looking thru the pilot jet, like looking thru a straw, and you should see a small hole go all the way thru, and light at the other end. If its plugged, use a soft wire, like one strand of an 18 gauge, braided copper wire, to push the obstuction out. Push it out oposite the direction of fuel flow.
