Default Raptor shock adjustment

I know the stock raptor shocks aren't the greatest thing on earth but i don't want to replace the shocks yet.
If I adjust the shocks to there hardest setting how much is it going to change them from stock form. Right now when I jump it's pretty easy to bottom them out.
I don't weigh all that much ether about 160. I want to do some trail riding with it also is tightening them all the way up going to make it ride like a rock?

Thanks.

Increasing preload on the front shocks controls body roll and will make the Raptor handle a little better. Of course it will ride a little harsher....you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Guess i'll have to try to find a cheep spanner wrench online.
Even a little change is better then what I have now. It bottoms out too easy if I don't land perfect.

I read somewhere you do not need a spanner wrech and you could get away with using blank I cant remeber what it was...if I see it again, ill let you know.

take the shock off the bike and you can use a bench vice and set of channel locks or a pipe wrench. Thats what I use anyway.
