Mud Lites on a 03 wolverine
I couldnt get the front tires off the ground when it was stock without holding down on the shift lever and poping it, but after the pipe and jet kit they would come up easally. the pipe doesent flare out before it goes into the silencer so some power is lost at that point but it does have what DMC calls a pulse chamber, I guess that compensates for it.

I like my 25" 489xt's a lot, I can handle the mud with ease. Only when it gets really sticky and 1st is a little too high is it a problem, then I rev it and drop the autoclutch and they are spinning wildly again, thowing mud all over me (they designed the Wolverine plastic in the desert, just so you know). The Mud Lites should be an equally impressive tire. I like the 6 ply 489's but have no experience with the Mud Lites, although they are increasingly popular. Stick with a light tire and make sure you have a few mods to spin the added 2" of tire. If not a 23" will do well and handle a little better anyways. Its all about what you want.

The rims are 12" and the tires are 23". (Front) 23x8-12 or (Rear) 23x10-12. I'm going to get 25" mudlites and get a FMF silencer with a dynojet kit. Then when I get some more cash a 424 warn kit and a highlifter detroit locker for the front of my 03 wolverine. I'm ready to tackle those grizzlys (well kinda).
