1987 banshee are they good? or no?

Default 1987 banshee are they good? or no?

J arms are lighter also. Makeing them slightly faster for draggin.

If you're buyin' it for a drag bike they're fine.If you want one to jump or ride wheelies on don't because the J-arms are notorious for bending and breaking.They changed to A-arms in 91.Other than that only the electrical plugs have been changed in the whole production run.

If you or anyone gets an 87-90 banshee, i would get the J-arm to A-arm conversion kit, it shows you what it looks like on www.thebansheezone.com, then click on suspension, should be right on the next page.

when I hit a tree with my j-arm the frame bent instead of the j-arm. My old j-arms were pretty durable. I got a-arms now. The only reason that a-arms are better is because you can buy them in extended lenghts if you want to widen it out some. J-arms clear the exhaust pipes better too.
