What make u say that this helmet is good and why???


Also what is the price range of a good helmet?

 

A good helmet is going to run you around $150 (unless you can catch one on sale...I picked up 2 2002 Thor SVS Helmets for $70 a piece).

A great helmet is going to run you well over $200 and upwards of $600 for top of the line (Bell, Arai).

The features to look for are at a minimum a DOT approved label....then look for a SNELL approval (not required), then removable liners/cheekpads, weight and comfort.

I've got a KBC helmet...HJC, Thor, O'Neal, Fox----any big names are going to be good helmets. Fulmer makes some nice looking helmets for a few less $$.

You can usually get great deals on last year models if you can find them
