Guys I need your help i went to my local yamaha dealership to see the yzf and the rap. I sat on both and the first thing that i notice was the yfz seat suck then i sat on the rap "BIG DIFFERENCE"
I want some input from you guys. I mostly ride trail and race my buddies.

 

The YZF is a pure MX quad.

The Raptor is one of the best trail machines out there with it's torque reverse and the seat is much more plush.

The YZF is awesome if you're looking for big air hard core riding where you're standing up most of the time.

Both are great machines in there own way.

But if your running trails mostly the Raptor is the way to go I think.

 

well. yfz is aggressive seating for track. i personnally hate them on trails. raptor, with a little work is just as good on track. the rap also respnds a lot better to mods. plus revers. raptor anyday is my choice. yfz is strickly race. IMO

 

Raptor is more for trail riding, yfz for mx and racing. Both are great machines, yfz is quicker.

The raptor i sat on was a le and was absolutely beautiful. How do u like yur raptor.

 

i recently had a 04. problems tho. she felt soo great. most comfortable quad ever.

 

I heard that the rap were a lil top heavy is it enough to slow you down the yzf was slot lower or atleast thats how i felt

 

ppl always say that the rap is tippy, they are liers. for the most part anyway. the yfz is just aggressice racing all the tiem seating position. raptor is both. raptor is a much better bike for all around riding. a few frame mods and its just as good as the yfz on track.

 

Is the reverse on the rappy easy to operate. I am gonna by either the rap or yfz this weekend. I might have to go eany meany miny mo.
