Twist throttle for woods?

Its somethig you have to get used to and comfortable with. I have a motion pro cr comp on my quad and no problems in the woods. I do wish it was a little quicker but not as much as the vortex.

For trails and that sort, I would take the thumb throttle anyday.

Yeah, a 1/4 turn on a Zilla is dangerous. But, they are cheaper and easier to find than a thumb throttle when you need one!!
