Is it possible to put 9inch wheels on a Blaster, I plan to buy a new set of tires and wheels this week and was wondering could I go with a nine inch wheel instead of the 8. I plan to either get Bandits or the Ohtsu Radial tires which are standard on the 400EX. I really like the look of each of these tires. I know most recommend turf tamers or Razors, but I have turfs on two other bikes I have I am just ready for a change up? What do you guys think, Will a 9inch Rim work?

You could even put 10 inch rims on if you wanted to. I switched to 10 inchers so that I could get more ground clearance and less sidewall flex.

I have pictures but know way of getting them on the computer. The 9 inch rim does look better than the 8" and it also opens up the tire market for you some.

The trail claws are a very good tire in every condition. I was also thinking of getting the bandits but they are just so heavy and poor in sand. The trail claws however a good in the sand and tear on trails.

go for 10s! They are even better.

I am putting them on my 300EX, less sidewall flex.

It will make you handle better.
