This is just advice, so if you meltdown your piston dont blame me, do some research first. Your near sea level so I might try a 45 pilot with a 175 main and the gytr needle on the 4th clip. Might run rich but its a start. The gytr kit is really not a heavy mod jet kid, I think the 170 main it comes with is pushing it on the lean side. Go to the YAMADealer and buy the Kehein jets seperately. You can get a NCVQ needle, a 45 pilot and 3 jets for about 25 bucks.

Once you move on to the K&N filter, you will require a larger main jet and possibly a larger pilot along with the NCQV needle.
I run a full GYT-R exhaust system, K&N with lid off the box and have the following jetting at zero to 300 feet elevation and 75 degrees temp
175 main
45 pilot
NCQV needle on 5th clip
with the stock foam filter I ran
165 main
45 pilot
NCQV needle on 4th clip
These settings should put you in the ballpark depending on the type of filter used. From there you will have to run some tests to determine if you require slight changes for elevation or temps.
