Default 2006 Regulations

I know this has been covered several times, but looking at other posts that have been made I can't get a clear answer. Here is the deal. I want to get a trx450r or a yfz450, but because of there width I don't think I can get it in my storage building. For me that leaves only one choice..... the banshee. I know there is going to be regulations put in to affect in 2006. My question is will I be able to ride it on public land (forest) after the regulations go into affect. I saw that people say that they will be grandfathered in but does this apply to where a person can ride them too?

I went Thursday and measured the yfs and trx. The trx is wider than the yfs, but I think the yfs will fit in my storage building. Any info regarding the two-stroke regulations? I might still have to get a banshee.
