Default Yamaha Financing???

Has anyone had any problems when financing their quad through Yamaha? Do they raise your interest rate if you are late on a payment? I'm planing on the 48 month at 6.9% . Has anyone went with the 48 or 60 month plan? Is there anything I should know, before I take the plunge? Any answers would be appreciated, Thanks!

Default Yamaha Financing???

I just financed my Raptor through Yamaha.I went with the 2 yr plan at 3.9%.I did not encounter any problems with them at all. I know several other people who have went through Yamaha as well and they were all satisfied. What are you buying? Good Luck on your new purchase..

Default Yamaha Financing???

I'm looking real close at a new Grizzly. Yamaha doesn't have a Fixed end loan, only their credit card deals. I've always been leery of those credit card type deals where they bait you in with low payments then raise the interest on you. My buddy doesn't get his statement from Yamaha until about 6 days before the money is due. It seems that Yamaha WANTS you to be late, on purpose, so they can raise their interest. Anyone else have the same problem?

of course they want you to be late..........they want every customer they have to be 11 days late.....
after the 10th day they charge you a late fee..........and they get to raise the interest late!
it's really smart.......but deceitful....

just make sure to pay on time, all will be fine. I've done 2 bikes through Yamaha credit. On the last month, if you still owe, get a bank loan Or transfer to a 0% APR credit card

Default Yamaha Financing???

I just bought a YFZ450 for 3.9% on 2 years then after that time is up Ill bump the small balance to a 7% credit card. 6.9% over 48 is no great deal in my opinion.

Yeah i have the same problem only that i got on their website and got the payments taken from my bank acct. directly and on time before they are due. no worries that way, but its always to keep an eye on the acct or call to make sure the payment was made.
