i've done this a couple of times, unfortunately...the eaiest way is to take the axle carrier out...place it in a vise. get a punch....line it up with the (inside) of the bearing. get the punch on the lip of the bearing, becareful that the punch isn't resting on the wall of the carrier. then Wham! give it a good wack with a mallet. place the punch opposite side of the bearing you just hit and continue revolving the punch around. Don't be a silky boy...give it a good whack. should only take a couple of whacks if your hitting it hard enough. if you score the carrier wall....no worries. take a dremel or some fine sand paper and smooth out the score.

my suggestions to you is...repack the carrier with lots of grease. i know...i know. It's a sealed bearing. but theres alot of space in that carrier and water will eventually work its way in. trust me...you'll have peace of mind.

goog luck and PM me if you get stuck.
