Any one have this piston set up with a stage 2 hotcam in a raptor, if so please post any comments.

Are you replacing your rod, or have you allready

Yes the rod is being replaced and the crank balanced for that piston. That's why it's taking a while. And we're using a megacycle 280X4 cam.

I am very happy with my 280X4 cam. My rappy revs up very quick and man does it pull.

That's good news. How's the bottom end? I hear you don't loose all that much.

I launch about 1/2 throttle in first gear and let her rip. It leaves the line harder then the stage two hot cam.

I get confused, which megacycle is the same as the Web 685?

Dieselhead - I liked the Hotcam Stage 2 with a high compression (~13:1?) JE piston, it rips! Are you having any head work done?

End of summer I'm going to switch to the 13.5:1 Ross on my 686. But I'm going to get a good summer out of the 11:1 before switching to the higher compression, and yes I have already switched my rod and had it balenced.
