Pretty slow night...so....
I got a chance to ride a very fast 770 bombardier today at the dunes thanks to a forum member(sandbomber)and now i am trying to figure out what i will need to put one together for my baja.I watched sandbombers 720 and 770 beat some very fast drag banshees today and it really got me thinking about the potential of my baja.I know this is the yamaha forum but i was really impressed by the ds today.Just so i dont get in too much trouble from you yamaha die hards i should add that i did ride my 686 today as well.

It won't quit raining here. 70% of the roads are washed out and they are trying to evacuate a city close to us.
As for quads, major fixes being done. Transmission is being sent to a local dealer to get fixed.
While that is off, the top end is being sent to Eric Gorr to be bored over and ported. Once it returns
I will be adding a trinity modified .040 wiseco prolite piston, as well has shaving the head of my quad
along with a .0015 head gasket to put me in the area of about 12:1 compression. As of right now, I'm looking
to buy a bigger carb for the trx(38mm a/s) - and selling my esr trx5 pipe to get a curtis sparks mx pipe
and silencer. Depending on how much money I have after paying those bills, an outerwear airbox cover,
19" front ITP holeshots and a new set of front and back fenders and hood. After that, I'm gonna go
find any YFZ and 450R in the area and whoop it's butt.
After that, I gotta look into fixing that oil leak on my truck

Did anyone watch the Nextel Cup Race today?

I have been thinking about buying a "trail bike", something to just go ride around on and not have to wrench on all the dang time. Maybe like a old Honda 300 4x4 or something similar.
Nextel Cup still sounds funny....didn't watch it, don't like it.
Sandbomber has some really nice looking toys on his picture page!!!

We have a 98' Honda 300 Fourtrax 4X4 that I putt around on sometimes, and hunt with in the winter. So if I get real desperate, I can ride it. But the Raptor is turning the corner on being back together. Maybe a week left before it's back together.
I know Nextel Cup sounds weird...but it's the same great racing. So I live with it.
