my raptor keepl stalling out like its running out of gas, itll idle smooth all day long but when i start to take off it starts acting like its running out of gas, the problem is nit consistent though, sometimes it will run perfect, the problem usually starts going up hills or when im hard on the throttle, any help would be greatly appreciated............im kinda thinking the carbs need a good cleaning, mabe the needle valves are sticking, also when the problem is occuring sometimes gas will come out of both carb overflows

 

sorry i cant help u but i have the problem now that i have an 03. I am curious if there is something i can change from my 01 to make that bypass crap stop.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I was riding in the hatfield-mccoy trails and mine started doing that. Then a wolverine in our group did the same thing. We are from cincy ohio, so we thought it might be a jetting issue. When we got home today, they seemed to run fine. I am still going to look into the problem.

 

If gas is coming out of the overflows then it might be the floats. I know on my bike when the floats were off it would all of a sudden just bog down when I was sticking the throttle.
Might not be it, but its worth a try.

 

Since you said gas is coming out of the over flows most likely its your floats
