And something that pisses me off more then anything, is when someone says, well you make a trip here and we'll do this or this and I'll show you. But that is when they are across the country. You are just north of me, and it's not out of the picture.

People who brag about such materialistic things like I just saw makes me laugh my @ss off, especialy when you (Ridley) were one of the guys who got on me when I was voicing my opinion about the YFZ several months back, everything is taken the wrong way on this board... its a shame.

Yeah, the yfz is great. Its a better quad in almost every way than the raptor. Some people like the raptor better than the yfz. The yfz is better in almost every way than the predator, yet they still sell them. I can make the same case with just about every sport quad. Just because the yfz is the best, does not mean that people wont prefer something else. Some people are happy with something less that the yfz. If you cant deal with that Ridley, then just ease off and let all of us ignorant trail riders make the wrong decision.

Ridley, I respect your input, and I feel that it is very important to this forum. I am glad that you are here and are willing to share your experience with all of us. That, after all, is the entire point of these forums. I simply think that these debates will never end, and will end up dividing the yamaha crowd between raptor and yfz. They are both great machines, and I know that you have not said otherwise. We all should be able to discuss these pros and cons of each vehicle without getting so upset and making things personal. Its inevitable that people will not get along, but I really dont think that it's necessary with this kind of atv topic.

Ridley, you pencil me in on a weekend, and bring whatever you feel like bringing. I hate having stupid arguement's over these forum's, or any other kind of internet forum/messenger. It's really immature and pointless, but I will give you some advice...That half@$$ lowering kit, and big ol' hick mud tires are something you better look into if you plan on following me around the hills around here. But don't think I just run those ol' hick mud tires, and that I think that the lowering kit add's a full on suspension. If you catch the right weekend, you can actually race on a MX track or two down here, and on the right weekend in late summer, you could come race Tri-State Championships in drag racing. There is a more then a few quick quads around here, and I'm sure they will welcome you into the open class, and you can race them all considering you don't get beat twice.

And if you think I'm just screwing with you, then check your pm. Because I'm as serious as a heart attack. I can plan ahead, and organize several differnt people to come join us on a big weekend ride. We got a couple quads close to my home, that will be more then happy to drag race you. I've got a couple guys that will be more then happy to take you on some hills, and if you can hang with them, then I will give you all the credit in the world. Basically we have alittle bit of everything down here, so what you bring is your choice.

I think the betting is getting alittle out of hand, because a poor guy like me can't buy anything and everything I feel that I want or need. But I do what I can do, and I'm very happy with what I got. You know, it was cool when we was actually getting along over the past few weeks, but I didn't figure it would last long. And if you are serious, maybe if you show up, we will actually get along and have a great time. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to line up against you, and that doesn't mean I won't take you to some pretty mean climbs around here.

I know it's a pain in the @$$ to get along, considering we both have ego's bigger then this forum, but it could happen. So if you can manage the trip this summer, I'll get everything organized here. I'll make sure you have a place for your motor home, and your trailor or hauler. And we will ride for two straight days, and go from there.

I'll get Mike(TheRaptorMan) to come join us. So we'll have another forum member there to join us. And you can consider me a kid, or whatever you want, but I have a feeling you'll have a new found respect for the riding I do, and exactly what all I can do on a piece of sh*t like a Raptor.

But before we go any further, I never said the YFZ was or wasn't a superior quad. I just said it has it's place, and then there is other places where it's not as good as other quads. Basically, it's not the best in every application like you believe. But to each his own.

Yamaha660r, pay no attention to ridley. i have bben watching his posts and he acts as if hes a tim farr or travis spader on a quad. If he ran his quads as hard as he does his mouth, he wouldnt have the time to even post on these forums. I say screw his visit and ride and let the guy ontinue to annoy the hell out of his own riding buddies. every group has one and no doubt, he is one.

And before you go popping off to me ridley, i do know how to ride. And if you want to get into a pi$$ing match, Keith Little will be more than happy to account for both me and my boy's riding abilities. And no, dont pretend to be all friendly suddenly in hopes of riding with him. You claim all this $hit and no one cares, so why mention it. You remind me of two other guys here. Mikeydunlap and Knowsnuttin. Both are knowledgable guys but have the worst attitudes of everyone here. why hang around where you arent wanted?

 

I am stunned. you really think you can make me look bad in this post? you cant make anyone here look bad. its hard to do when you are the most hated guy here.think about it momentarily. dont think about it to much though. wouldnt want all those yfzs jumping from your ears. you have never even been to alabama i see. its the mx capital of the world. most pro riders, most mx tracks, and the number one sport atv sales state per capita from what my dealer (who races with me mind you) has said. I have nothing else to say to you. I think you should be banned. As for the cup of STFU, I have had several today thank you very much and have plenty more to go around.
