Help. A tree hit my warrior!
I've ridden 15 years and never flipped one! Untill this weekend. Tagged a pine tree w/ my left rear wheel and bent the axle and some front plastic (when it rolled). what else should i be checking. axle is trash, need a new one, did not notice any cracks in frame. Where should i go from here.

Well everyone flips there atv... Dont worry about it easy mistake. You will need a new axle. Check on ebay for a warrior axle stock first. You might be able to find one for cheap... If not you might want to check out Durablue HERE and it may be expencive but a little more reliable. For the plastics if it was a blue warrior you might see stretch marks that kind of look white. They are easily taken care of with a minor hair sprayer just put it on high and go over the stretches. Dont worry your warrior will be fine. Just be careful and wear a helmet

Alright, here is the plan..... tag that same exact tree with the same wheel at the same speed, but do it with the wheel rotated 180 degrees out. This should straighten your axle back to to factory specs.
Lol, once you get either a new or new/used axle installed, then ride it tenderly and feel for any abnormalities. Your seat time should be able to help you point to anything defective. Just think in line of where those forces went ... ie.. tree to wheel (hub might be bent) to axle (definately bent) to axle carrier (look for any newly flaked off paint and or stress cracks around bearings / bolt mounts to the swing arm pivot bolt (in my opinion, highly unlikely, but possible). You get the general idea.
