Default HELP, Raptor 686 getting hot and jetting problems

I have been having trouble with my rappy. It has a JE 11:1 102 mm piston with stage 1 hotcam, Whit bros R4 system, lightly ported and polished head. K & N, with no snorkel. It gets really hot real fast. I am already up to 190 and 195 mains 25 pilots 3 1/2 turns out on mixture screw. 4th clip on needles. The fan comes on and does not go off after about 5 min idle or riding lightly. I am just getting it broke in, so I have not ran it very hard yet. When I get on it the thing pulls great until mid to upper rpm then it just falls on its face. I have tried everything. I am about ready to get rid of the dang thing. Please Help.
Thanks

I would retorque the head bolts, it's a good idea even if that isn't your problem. I would check the fan switch and the thermostat. Are you loosing any coolant, are you sure the system is full?
It's not uncommon to run a little hot till it's broke in.
I would also replace the float needle valve assemblies with ones out of an 02 grizzly.

He said grizzly, not a warrior. Im not too sure the reasoning for it, but they are basicly the same engines. Have you moved the needle clip at all? or just kept it on that clip. What color is your spark plug? When an engine is idling and not moving air across the radiator, it will get hot. Modded quads like to keep moving.

if the engine falls on its face around the mid rpm's then you are more than likely getting too much fuel to them. I would recomend jetting with stock pilot jets.

The reasoning for the Grizzly needle valve assemblies is, the fuel flow
is much higher than the Raptors stock needle valve.

The Grizzly has one carb - feeding basically the same engine the Raptor
has in it. Our Raptors have 2 carbs feeding it. So, the single carb has
to provide lots more gas.

At least thats what I think is going on, Im no expert

Yes, I have moved clips. Like I said above, I started with all stock jetting and went up from there. I am up to 190 and 195 mains, 25 pilots, and 4th clip on the needles. The spark plug still comes out WHITE. Very LEAN somewhere. I am going to try a few other things this weekend. But Im out of ideas. ps where can I get float seats and needles from a grizzly at?
