YFZ Question.
A fellow friend and ATV rider of mine told me he dislikes the 450 because it has to be rebuilt wicked fast compared to other quads. He says since it acts like a 2-stroke, it must be rebuilt extremelt often. This caught my attention, because I have yet to hear this, exactly how long is it till you have to rebuilt it! I dont wanna have a money pit If you know, thanks guys!!

YFZ Question.
If they're anything like my CRF, and if you're a weekend warrior type, they can probably go quite a while w/o rebuilding - at least a year or so. It all depends upon who you are and how you ride.
I'm on my 3rd rebuild now, but this one has nothing to do w/ reliability.

YFZ Question.
Ive got over 100 hard hours on it and its not even close to needing a rebuild.
One thing about the YFZ and a few other bikes out (pred, z400, 450r and maybe others??) have a nikisil lined cylinder that does not wear like most cylinders .... so when it needs a top end rebuild you just slap in a new set of rings and you'll be set for another couple hundred hours.
