They finally realized that it is junk??? That is the best thing they could have done. At least they realize it finally.....

hahahahahah, First of all I own an 03 pred and I dont know what tranny problems you speak of also I think it is funny that the raptor is a 660 and the pred beats it so people have to go out and put more money in it and make it a 686 or a 690...LOL... We are talking a 200 cc increase you need to win.... I think it is good that yamaha is finally realizing that they need to stop making it. Im not bashing this thread I just agree with it and think they are making a good decision. Thats all

and you must be proud that it doesnt' respond as well to mods as raptors do hahahaha
becuase the raptor is more corked up from the factory hahaha
BTW
My stock raptor with a K&N and the baffle removed would put 3 lengths on on my cousins uncorked predator in 300ft......and top end it would keep on pulling away.....I didn't need a 686 to beat a predator.........I wanted it so I could half track one......

We can go back and forth on this topic all day long, but all that I am trying to say is that first of all Yamaha is going to increase sales on the yfz450 which they want and decrease paying out for broken raptors that are under warranty. Also I think it is just becuase this is a yamaha forum you are all going to say that the raptor is faster but I know the truth so I am not going to argue. When yamaha stops making it next year you will all realize why.....
