According to the map, it doesn't look like you race on the beach, it also looks like there is no OHV use on the beach itself. There's 4 sand camping areas at a cost of $60 for the event. $85 for motorhomes/trailer camping in lot #1. $25 for an event entry pass for the entire event. Aparently you can't get these in advance. They're pretty proud of their event aren't they? Could get very expensive not to mention the trouble with the sand police you guys seem to have. With all that being said. I'd go if I could find a way.

Ya, you can't use the beach at winchester but your not missing much anyways! The dunes are pretty spread out there, it's lots of fun! The races are done on a small straight flat streach that they make with equipment, the edges of the strip are just lines of highway median concrete. Most people camp in the sand to avoid the high camping rates, motorhomes go out there and make it back easily, I see it done all the time. It's also illigal to have alcohol in the dunes here.

Go camping and not drink beer whats the point ? Oregon is such a Communist state . Sorry guys I know the Oregon coast is Aawsome but your law makers are a bunch of uptight tree hugging leg humpers . No beer at the beach why dont they outlaw the jelly fish from the beach ~~~~ thats next right

146.2db is all. What do u have? My brother hitting 161.6db on the mic. He has 6 10"Depth charge(cheap speakers) and briged to 1ohm and pushing 200watts to each speaker. I he help's out at the local stereo shop so maybe thats why. I will post some pics soon and show all of u.

Besides the DB limit for the events and no brew allowed.....you are subject too "safety" searches. So you can give up $100+ and still be harassed with a dang "safety" search. Safety searches blow. At least it is a true event and not a redneck get together like some other events.

It can be done in 14 hrs easy from Bakersfield. And it's worth it. I would go to Oregon over Dumont & Glamis anyday. It's a place any true ATV fan should hit atleast once.
