Default IM tired Of all that Sqeeaking!

I am tired of my raptor's suspension sqeaking. ive tried lubicating it greasing it up, but its not long befre i have to do it again. i want to hear anyone who doesnt have squeaking on their bike and how you achieved it.

I just took off the rear skid and pumped some grease on that zerk fitting down there, solved my squeeking problem

i tried that. took soem off but the top one is the one that seems to be making teh squeaking i took mi t off lubbed it up with grease later antizeise. antizeise worked the longest but its sqeaking again. and the fron bottom shock mounts are sqeaking too

Take it off,,,, hehehe J/k. No I use some silicone grease that works for some time now. I was just putting wd-40 on it but it wouldnt last a week.

WD40 is a dirt magnet! Never use that. It will bring dirt into places you didnt know it could go.

I have had good luck using marine greas, I think it is made by Slick 50 or Quicksilver, look for it at Wal-Mart with the marine stuff. It is kind of a green color and will not wash out like other normal greases. I used it on my Raptor with good results. I have also used it to put my 250R back together. I last tore the front end apart about 9 months ago, and even with no Zerk fittings, they still don't squeak. Pressure washing won't even blow it out.

take a bolt adn loosen the top shock bolt just a little bit.. they over torque them.. and it stops the squeakin

Default IM tired Of all that Sqeeaking!

Loosening the lower shock nut just 1/4 of a turn got rid of my squeaking problems and they were very annoying.
