my warrior won't start

Default my warrior won't start

I just finished with a sprocket change on my front sprocket and it wont start .
my lights all work and i already checked all the stupid stuff kill swith ect, but i push the
start button i don't even get a click or a buzz nothing, it started just fine when i put it on the trailer
yesterday and the motor ran good today (i pulled it with another quad) ,
any ideas??????

Default my warrior won't start

my friend had a warrior and he had to stick something metal on the opposite side of the muffler in the back to connect the relay starter. i am not sure exactly how to explain this because it was quite a while ago. he would like hot wire it
the button did nuthing

did he pull the wires from the switch or direct from the starter?

he pulled no wires, just connected two things, all i know is that is was in teh back on the opposite side of the muffler, and he used to sticka key in there and it would spark and turn the engine over.

thanks for the input but i'm not shure if its the button even though it seems to be
anyone know what happens when a starter bites the dust?

Yeah it happened to me too on the oppossite side of your exhuast under the fender hooked the the chassis is like a like rubber peice with wires try jiggling the wires around or mabay oushing them up into it. I think its the starter but once i did it it reved right up...

Mine has done this two....underneath the left rear fender (if your sitting on the quad) there is a ready wire try wiggling it around..I did this too mine and it started up.

My buddies Warrior is doing the same thing. He has to pop start it and then it runs fine but the starter does nothing. He's going to take it into a shop next weekend so if they figure out whats wrong I'll let you know.

Default my warrior won't start

I have an 03 and mine did that right after a few hour's of riding. I took it to the shop and they told me that it was the sellinoid that was $35. and it was not it and I could not bring it back. I took the the start button apart and cleaned it and now its working ok. but before that it made no sound. try to clean out the start button
