water crossing good or bad?
hey ive crossed through water on all sorts of quads and never a problem even trough some freezing water on a grizz which everyone knows needs to be cooled alot better than it is. also your warrior may not get as hot as his rappy b/c an aircooled 350 is probably isnt running as warm as a liquid cooled 660. but thats just my guess.

I have always been told to go no deeper than your airbox is high, in other words dont let your airbox go under water. Is this pretty good practice?? I have a polaris 600 sportsman now that will be gone next weekend. I will be buying a new yfz450, how much water would be considered safe to take it in. I know to lube them up real good before and after but what about the hondas, they have no grease fittings. With the yfz450 should I just follow the reasoning that water is ok as long as its not in the airbox??
