do alot of trail ridin,there are plenty of brooks and streams.
sometimes in crossing i get alot of steam off the engine.
is this hurting the block?
my rappy runs hot and im afraid the cold water will eventually
cause some damage am i wrong?

 

I go threw ponds, creeks, and huge puddles that are pretty deep...i go threw them alot...and nothing has ever happened to my quad....and warriors are aircooled also, not liquid cooled like raptors so i doubt you will hurt a thing...

 

had a warrior for a few years
didnt seem to run as hot as my rap
never got this much steam off old warrior

 

Is the radiator working? LOL...My friends Raptor seems to blow off alot of steam too...but not as much as My warrior....sometimes I can't see becuz theres so much steam...but thats usually after I am just putt putting around on trails fro a while...

 

You wont hurt anything. I would think its better for the machine. Cooling your baby off a littlebits not bad.. It wont crazy beacuase its to thick and strong to .. Dont worry about it..

yeah, its all fun and games untill something cracks hardcore, hehehe. Just kidding, you should be alright, although my one buddy from new york said he cracked his lt250r case crossing a creek, i dunno how true that is though

Water crossing is ok if you lube the machine up before and after. Make sure you go slow through it.

 

Yeah just remeber to grease all ur bearings...i found out the hard way
