Default The nicest yfz

I just got back from sand mountain nevada. There was a yfz out there today that was amazing. This guy was keeping up and even beat with a 686 raptor on nitrous (dont know if he used the nitrous) up Comp Hill. It is obviously a full out hillshooter. Most of the chrome parts are stock that he sent in to get chromed. The funny thing is that this guy didnt even have a 470 kit or a ported head or anything major like that. Must have just been real good at tuning. I stopped and talked to the guy for a while. He was a actually really cool and honest (unlike some people). Anyways here are some pictures.

Nope, don't know that one. It isn't Schwendi or anyone from our group. Schwendi was up there today so I'm sure he probably talked to the dude and will know who it was. I'm sitting home with strep throat.

Ha, look in the background of pic 3, that's Schwendi's YFZ farthest over, is this the Steve that came down and rode with us last weekend at PC? Rooster and Vorra?

thats me. I rode with you last week at pc. This guy was killing schwendi up the hill. There were about 10-15 yfzs out this weekend. Some pretty quick ones. Nobody else could beat schwendi but this guy.

Anyone else notice that he chose to go with 7 paddles instead of doing what many do, and get 8-10. Maybe he is onto something. Awsome looking bike, I wouldnt mind racing him up comp, prolly puts up a good fight.

He has those ultra light buffs or whatever they are called. They are supposedly just for drag racing.

Take a look at his quad. You can tell it isn't just tuning. He has put it together for drag racing.

Hope he is out there next weekend!

Yes those tires are the ones I use. Those are on my 690 and get great launches and traction!!!

That's a very nice YFZ. I like the chrome a lot. I think headlights, or no lights would have been the best for the front. But a sweet ride nevertheless.
