I am thinking about doing some mods to my stock warrior. How much would a HMF pipe, K & N Filter, Holes in the airbox lid, Hotcam...and then jetting wake my warrior up? How many more horsepower are we looking at? Would it be worth it for trail, and rode riding?

 

do you mean road riding?...why would you want to ride on the roads?..



but yeah you will definetely feel the difference..it may give you 7-8hp

id say about ~3 for the pipe and K&N. Dunno about hotcam, its very mild. Maybe another hp or two?

It will give a little bit, but not the same as the higher lift cams because they tried to keep the lift down to use the stock valve springs.

 

i think it would give you 12 horsepower which is how much a 250x has so think of it as adding a 250x to your warrior without all of the weight

 

that would set it to 30hp and it would be beating Z400s and smoking 400exs easily. Dont see it happening. Even a .450 cam, porting, and bigger carb, and 11:1 piston wont quite get you that.

 

If you got the Juice "Nitrous" than you will get the greatest pickup of all.
