Who makes the best carb intake manifold for my 01 raptor? The old one will not stay on the carb's. I need the email or the phone number.

Are you sure you don't mean the carb boots?

Yes you are right, the intake boots or carb boots, its what's go's onto the carb's.

UPP makes a good set of carb boots.

www.albaaction.com sells them. But I'm sure you can look around at some high performance parts websites and find them as well.

Got em...never came off after installation.

your actually dealing with 2 problems...your mixture may be off...and the bad design of the boots. a quick fix to get you back on the trail today....would be to take the clamp(s) off from around the Boot. there is a spacer that rests between the clamp ends and fits over the screw. Take the spacer off and file it down. you only want to take off a Human hair or two worth of metal. if you take off to much. the clamp will tightened down to much and possibly cut into the carb boot.

i had the same problems and then i found manifolds that are plastic and click in instead of sliding like the stock ones which slide out and i have not had problems since and dont buy the stock ones they are crap
