If my calculations are correct doesn't two cylinders make more power than one? If so why don't atv manufacturers make a twin cylinder smaller cc atv than a huge single cylinder atv?

I think that a twin makes diffrent power but not really more. For instance a Honda 250r Bored to a 350 would make around the same power as a 350 twin. Now you need to figure in pipe and carburation and lots of outher things. But basicaly a 350 is a 350.

thats like saying apples are oranges, with two cylinders, there is higher rpms, more hp, less torque, more topend, and higher air/fuel velocities. the exact opposite is usually true with the same cc's of a single.
