I've raced a couple of gsxr 600s with knobby tires. If I get a good start I can barely beat them in 300 ft but they are pullin on me fast.

 

Just what are you racing the gixxers with? I can't launch all that fast on my 600, but I can smoke a Raptor and a Vito's Banshee like nothing in 100 yards. Only thing that gives me trouble is a new RM 250, but once I hit second gear (about 50mph) he's fast becoming a speck in the mirror.


I should throw in I have added a +3 tooth rear sprocket, but other than that my bike was stock last summer when I raced these foolio's.

 

686 with a 30 shot . The bikes aren't stock either. One has an extended swingarm. I'm sure they have some internal mods but they aren't talkin.

 

personally i dont think youll have a chance in hell.crotchrockets get out of the hole too good.maybe he'll give you a headstart and you might stand a chance.but it never would hurt to race and find out.

 

My 2001 CBR 929 went 7.2 @ 101.7 mph. My Banshee went 7.41 @ 88.9 mph running out of gear. I believe that I can get the Banshee to go the same et with a proper asphalt setup. My 60 ft times were in the 1.7s and I do better than that on sand.
