Default ticking noise in raptor 350

I HIGHLY doubt it's a first year problem, they've used that same engine and tranny for over 15 years. Also they changed nothing with the Raptor 350 as far as tranny and engine goes cept the cam and that has nothing to do with shifting. I don't have any idea what would cause that though, I assume it's not quite getting into gear. Is the clutch adjusted good?

So the raptor 350 is a six-speed?

make sure that it's all the way in forward or reverse...that has happened to me a couple times.
