my friend has a 04 brand new rancher. he ran out of gas out on these horse trails and we pushed it a ways to some persons house. we ask if we could have a little gas if they had it. the guy came back with a tank, and we poured in just enough to get home, and after he put in a quart he lifted the can out and put the cap on, and the guy said that is chain saw gas. we said o no, because its a 4stroke, and the chain saw gas is mix. we said thanks and rode home anyway, it rode like normal, but does this hurt it, or would it hurt it just that little ways?

You shouldnt have a problem. I would drain out whatever is left in the tank, throw a new plug in and let er rip.
