Are JE Pistons really that crappy?

Just recieved a crack and hole in the top of my 11:1 JE Piston late Saturday afternoon for the second time. Haven't opened it up yet to verify but I know that's what it is. Died going up comp and oil came out the breather tube. The first failure oil was gradualy getting worse out the breather tube. This one just happened at once. I jetted up 4 sizes on the mains and installed bigger needle valves, Ran 100 octane fuel, no less than 96 at anytime since the new piston. The first one cracked after about 5 rides or so. This one lasted a few months longer. JE will hear from me this time. The first time I thought I might be in error with jetting and or detonation issues. I know possitively that is not the case here. The funny part is, I was talking to a banshee guy that morning at Dumont. His buddy has a Raptor that did the same thing a little while back and I was saying how this one has lasted longer this time blah blah. So much for that.

Weiseco doesn't make a 11:1 or 12:1 102mm bore piston do they?
The JE piston for the Raptor is whats junk. IMO, there's not enough meat on the top and they get weak and crack.

Go with the Ross 11:1. I haven't heard any complaints about a Ross yet, and I will have one in my possession tomorrow. It guess most everyone was right about the JE 102mm piston's though.

Ross is new to the ATV world yes? They've done cars for a while but isn't this there 1st attempt to the ATV world? Time will tell. Weiseco's been around for a long time with ATV's etc. I just don't recall them making a 102mm bore piston. I may have little choice.

Now you got me worried. I just got finished putting in a JE 105 12:1 piston. I have about 3 hours on it, so I have been taking it real easy breaking it in. And today I noticed that there was some oil that looked like it squirted out of the crank case breather...... I was thinking "that's odd, how would I be getting blow by"
Now I see this and it makes me wonder what my piston looks like, because I checked my compression and it was at 190psi. When I had a 101mm 11:1 wiesco piston I had 195psi. I thought it was just low because the rings weren't setted yet, and I hope I'm right.
