Does Kodiak 450 ever overheat?
#1
Hey 450 drivers, have any of you ever had the thing overheat? If so, what did it take to make it happen? How about driving in tall grasses and having grass seeds and other such matter get clogged in the radiator. Any info in this department greatly appreciated.

I had mine overheat once. But that was due to the fact the a stick or something poked a hole in one of my hoses and all the antifreeze leaked out. Other than that it never has overheated on me and I drive through a lot of thick stuff. As long as the fan works it shouldn't overheat. I suppose if you got enough junk in the radiator anything would overheat. I haven't really driven it in hot weather yet though so I'm not sure about that.

Mine hasn't overheated on me. I got it late last fall, but we still had a few 85+ degree days and even while sitting or riding slowly it was fine. The fan kicked on, but no overheating. Why do you ask?

I was just wondering if there was any cause for concern. I'll be using mine on a cattle ranch and it can get terribly hot during the summer and sometimes cattle herds just have to be moved, regardless of the heat. The hotter the outside temp, the slower you have to move the cattle for their own safety and comfort, I just don't want the wheeler overheating on me.
