YFZ factory defect

Default YFZ factory defect

i am about to kill someone here!!!

it took me about 3 hours to change my front tires becasue the treads on the front sprindles striped right off!!
GOOD WORK YAMAHA
they can build the nicest machine but they cant figure out how to bolt a tire on right!

so anyonw with a yfz BE CAREFUL this threads are yamaha genuine POS

anyway now that 2 of them are stripped right off can anyone tell me how to change them?
the bolts, front spindles, where tires go and lug bolts over that (trying to be specific)lol

The dealer probably stripped them during the assembly process and passed off the mess to you.

Get them to fix it under warranty!

Yup, my friends switch there tires from paddles to dirt all the time, and nothing stripped.

I agree 100%. My husbands YFZ is used for racing and the tires are changed often because of varying track conditions. We haven't had any problems.

well this is just great lol my warrenty is up....i think

i got my yfz in august and they wouldnt offer the extened warrenty.....????
(can i still get the warrenty if the one it came with is up??)

does anyone know if the blots on the spindles can be replaced, or do i have to change them out entirely...

how much will it cost to do this?

oh ya my tie rod broke today.......great week huh lol

may be its time to start babying my quad......NAH

...well if there stripped could you take the angle grinder and make the left and right sides smooth and then take plires and heat up the bolt put some twister or wd 40 and it should come right off!!!! lol bring your yfz to the prop and ill fix it..we will use all of alex's tools..

The simple key to this is... NEVER LET TIGGER RIDE YOUR DAMN QUAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
