The pred is currently standing pretty quick here in the central states...so I would say that says something, and you can't quite mod the pred like you can the banshee yet.....

 

What future mods for the pred and other 4 strokes are you guys waiting for. There already is a aftermarket part for every part of the engine. BIg bores what ever. There is nothing left to come up with. Look at cars they have been researched for years and you can do everything to a 4 stroke atv that you can do to a car. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] It's not going to happen. Unless they make a 1000 cc engine.

 

so what more is there to do to a shee?? The pred is fast, you atleast have to admit that, even if its not as fast as some shees

 

I was just refering to were you said that you can't quite mod the pred like you can the banshee yet... And I was replying that you can it just isn't as effective and never will because your engine has to do more work to produce power then a 2 stroke. The 2 stroke will always be more efficent.

 

yeah true....but I still think that the pred deserves a lot more credit than some guys in here give it....I know you guys are true to your blue, but atleast give polaris a little credit. I would also like to add, that if 2 strokes are better, which I somewhat agree, the polaris sports have been known to be quite fast too. I would say that a highly modded sport can keep up with a highly modded shee.

credit is earned not given. When I finally see one in action that impresses me then it gets respect. till then it's another 4 stroke. As for the sport, No it has 1 cylinder, its automatic and heavier then a bus.

 

ok this proves that you are just stubborn, and don't really know anything.....or is you do know something, you sure don't pay attention to how well polaris's do in drag races. At one time, a sport was unbeatable at glamis on thanksgiving weekend, and there are still some really fast ones, and the pred is currently the fastest quad(at the drags anyway) here in the midwest.

 

and if you put the same amouint into each atv, if you drop 2k into the pred no banshee is going to touch it with similar mods....if they will touch it at all.

 

Dude your the stubborn one when are you going to realize that a banshee feeds off of modifications. the 2 stroke engine of the banshee will improve more then almost any quad just after a few simple mods. and you have to learn to deal with that, the preds are fine atv's but after mods the banshee is going to have much more improvements in speed and power then a pred is because thats the way they were built which i8s to accept mods.
